Area Intel
"Ol Pejeta is more than a conservancy; it is a tactical laboratory for conservation. It is the only place in Kenya where you can witness the Big Five and chimpanzees in a single mission."
Situated on the equator between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta is the largest sanctuary for black rhinos in East Africa. The mission signature here is the world's last two remaining Northern White Rhinos, guarded 24/7 by an elite tactical canine and armed unit.
The conservancy features the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, established in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute to rehabilitate chimpanzees rescued from the black market. The terrain is a mix of open savanna and riverine forest, offering high-density wildlife observation with a strong emphasis on data-driven conservation.
Strategic Notes
04. Security Protocol
- 01 Night Ops: One of the few sectors where infrared and thermal-assisted night safaris are authorized for tracking nocturnal predators.
- 02 K-9 Unit Recon: Observe the specialized anti-poaching dog unit in action, a critical component of the sanctuary's security protocol.
- 03 Baraka the Rhino: Execute a close-quarters interaction with Baraka, a blind black rhino who serves as a global ambassador for his species.
